Out of service area?

Rate this Entry
When we send flowers & gifts, we automatically assume that most cities, towns, & hamlets are serviced by a local florist.

What we forget though, is that many, many rural areas simply don't have the population base to support a full-fledged flower shop.

What happens then?

Well, delivery from larger towns can be attempted, but often this entails a 30-40 mile (48-64 kilometre) trip...and that's one way!

No wonder that customers often hesitate when faced with a $20 or $30 delivery charge. But then again when you tie up a driver & vehicle for over an hour, it can get very expensive!

At Simon Says Roses, we've tried to come up with a logical alternative, in an attempt to service more remote areas with top quality gift delivery in Canada and the U.S.

These direct ship products are designed to serve those areas not serviced by a florist, but CAN be reached by a courier, often from 24 to 48 hours of placing an order.

You don't get the immediate, same day satisfaction of having flowers & gifts delivered quickly...BUT you do have the satisfaction of knowing a quality gift will be received.

It's just taking customer service to a different level, that's all!

and courier service is "cheaper"??..it's a question that bears asking!!
Many "smaller" towns are literally "dying", in many remote areas, and in my own travels across this great nation, once thriving villages AND towns, are now ghost-towns.
Shops CANNOT be expected to service, or advertise that they service such areas, without sufficient cause, OR, volume.
One caveat...many clients are more than willing to pay, heavier than normal delivery charges, to shops, that would consider the long distance ramifications, and the WAY to find out, is to simply "ask".....
